By accessing and using GameExpo Canada's services, website, and attending our events, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service or attend our events.

2. Event Participation

Participation in GameExpo Canada events is subject to these terms and conditions. All attendees must comply with venue rules, safety regulations, and conduct guidelines. GameExpo Canada reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person from the event for violations of these terms or disruptive behavior.

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by GameExpo Canada. In case of event cancellation, full refunds will be provided within 30 business days. Event schedules, speakers, and content are subject to change without notice.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion and other matters related to GameExpo Canada are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary rights. The copying, redistribution, use or publication by you of any such matters or any part of this site, except as allowed by Section 4, is strictly prohibited.

All game demonstrations, presentations, and materials displayed at our events remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Unauthorized recording, photography, or distribution of proprietary content is strictly prohibited.

4. Photography and Media

By attending GameExpo Canada events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes. These materials may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. If you do not wish to be included in such materials, please notify event staff immediately.

5. Limitation of Liability

GameExpo Canada shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if GameExpo Canada has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

GameExpo Canada is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property during events. Attendees participate at their own risk and are encouraged to secure their belongings.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. GameExpo Canada is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

Prohibited behavior includes but is not limited to: harassment, discrimination, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images, and deliberate intimidation.

7. Health and Safety

GameExpo Canada prioritizes the health and safety of all participants. We reserve the right to implement health protocols as deemed necessary, including but not limited to health screenings, mask requirements, social distancing measures, and capacity limitations.

Attendees with known health conditions that may be affected by crowd environments, loud sounds, flashing lights, or extended standing should take appropriate precautions. GameExpo Canada cannot be held responsible for health issues that arise during events.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the GameExpo Canada services, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

By registering for our events or using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Prohibited Items and Activities

The following items are prohibited at GameExpo Canada events: weapons of any kind, illegal substances, outside food and beverages (unless specified), professional recording equipment without prior authorization, and any items deemed dangerous by venue security.

Prohibited activities include: solicitation without prior approval, distribution of unauthorized materials, disruptive behavior, violation of game demonstration rules, and any activity that interferes with the enjoyment and safety of other attendees.

10. Force Majeure

GameExpo Canada shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this agreement which is due to earthquake, flood, fire, storm, natural disaster, act of God, war, terrorism, armed conflict, labor strike, lockout, boycott, or other similar events beyond our reasonable control.

11. Modifications to Terms

GameExpo Canada reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

We recommend reviewing these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates or changes that may affect your participation in our events or use of our services.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.

14. Severability
